CITY OF MALOLOS — Senator Imee Marcos led the distribution of financial aid to the beneficiaries of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program together with the Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB) through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office recently at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium here, wherein she has allotted a total of P2,250,000.

A total of 840 beneficiaries received P3,000 each including those from the municipalities of Bocaue (218), Pandi (147), Angat (59), Balagtas (56), Bustos (8), Bulakan (7), Plaridel (5), Calumpit (4), Marilao (2), and Norzagaray (1); and from the Cities of Malolos (217), San Jose Del Monte (108) and Baliwag (8).

During her speech, Marcos emphasized the importance of unity and bayanihan in addressing the needs of affected communities and she also assured them that the government will continue to provide assistance and long-term support.

“Tuluy-tuloy lang po ang pagtulong sa mga kababayan nating may pangangailangan. Hindi po tayo magsasawang mag-abot ng tulong sa kanila lalo na sa panahon ng sakuna, kagipitan, at matinding pagsubok,” Marcos said.

Meanwhile, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando assured that the PGB, along with various organizations and volunteers, will continue to extend assistance especially to those included in the vulnerable sectors.

“Our mission is to ensure that no one is left behind. Patuloy po tayong makikipagtulungan para mas mapabuti at upang mapagaan ang hirap na pinagdaraanan ng ating mga kababayan,” the governor said.

The AICS program continues to be a vital mechanism in extending government services to individuals in crisis, emphasizing the importance of timely and responsive aid in times of difficulty. (UnliNews Online)
