Bulacan anti-illegal ops yields P195K worth of drugs haul, 16 arrested

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — In a series of relentless operations, a total of 16 drug peddlers were arrested while 29 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated drug price value of Php 195,160 along with buy-bust money were confiscated on Tuesday (April 1).

According to reports submitted to Col. Satur L. Ediong, Provincial Director of the Bulacan PPO, a total of 14 sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated drug value of P140,760.00 along with buy-bust money, were seized during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Malolos City Police Station.

The operation took place at approximately 8:30 p.m on April 1, 2025, in Brgy. San Vicente, City of Malolos, Bulacan, leading to the arrest of 6 drug suspects.

Similarly, different buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Bocaue, San Jose Del Monte, Calumpit, and Meycauayan City Police Station, 10 drug suspects were arrested.

Confiscated during the operation were a total of 16 heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of P54,400.00 and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect are now being prepared for filing in court.

Col. Ediong, emphasizing the vital role of relentless operations in the fight against illegal drugs and the pursuit of wanted individuals. He expressed the unwavering dedication to enforcing the law, particularly targeting illegal drug offenders and fugitives who pose a threat to public safety.
