CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — Three individuals tagged as high-value targets were arrested inside a makeshift drug den that also led to the seizure of approximately P136,000.00 worth of shabu after a successful buy-bust operation at around 11:08 p.m. in Barangay Minuyan Proper on Saturday (May 17).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan identified the apprehended suspects as Alias Ampoy, male, 24 years old (drug den maintainer); Alias Negra, female, 50; and Alias Tom, male, 18.
Arrested suspects are residents of the aforementioned barangay .
Approximately 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000.00, assorted sniffing and paraphernalia, one Android phone, and buy-bust money were recovered during the sting operation.
According to PDEA, arrested suspects were under PDEA’s radar since April this year.
The operation was conducted through the collaborative efforts of the PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, the PDEA RO3 Special Enforcement Team, the PNP Provincial Intelligence Team Bulacan East Unit (RIU 3), and the Bulacan PPO-PIU.
Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained in the PDEA jail facility in Pampanga, while charges for violation under Republic Act 9165 are now being readied for filing. (UnliNews Online)
