CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Fifteen drug suspects were arrested and P901,040.00 worth of shabu were seized in different buy-bust operations conducted in the province from Wednesday (July 16) to Thursdays (July 17) as part of the intensified campaign against illegal drugs.
In the statement, Col. Angel L. Garcillano, acting Bulacan Provincial Director said on Thursday that 3 suspects were caught in Brgy. Perez, Meycauayan City. Six (6) sachets of suspected shabu worth an estimated P359,040.00 were confiscated.
In Brgy. Tigbe, Norzagaray, 4 suspects were arrested by the local police while P331,160.00 worth of shabu, a caliber .45 gun, digital scale, drug paraphernalia, and P19,000 cash were confiscated from the suspects.
On the other hand, Garcillano addded that 2 suspects were arrested in Brgy. Sta. Cruz II, City of San Jose Del Monte and seized P136,000.00 worth of shabu.
Meanwhile, six drug peddlers were arrested in separate operations by the Baliwag CPS, Pandi, Marilao, and Paombong MPS, where P74,840.00 worth of drugs was seized.
“The suspects and evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination. Appropriate cases for violation of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591,” Garcillano said.
