BMC inaugurates first locally funded MRI facility

CITY OF MALOLOS –The Bulacan Medical Center (BMC) inaugurates on Thursday (Oct. 9) the first locally funded Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facility in the whole country.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that the opening of the MRI unit is a huge step in realizing his dreams, the legacy he wanted to leave in the province, to have affordable, safe, and quality medical services for all the Bulakenyos.

The People’s Governor also reminded all the doctors and nurses to serve the public with a smile.

Tandaan natin na we are all public servants. We need to serve the people.

Meanwhile, Dr. Alberto D. Gabriel, head of the Department of Radiology, said that the machine, which is usually used for brain, spine, knee, muscles, and stomach scanning, can serve eight to 10 patients a day, and they plan on operating it from Mondays to Sundays.
