CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Less than a day after robbing a fast food chain, two suspects were arrested in a swift and coordinated police operation launched by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), proving once again that law enforcement in Central Luzon remains alert, responsive, and relentless against criminal activity.
The suspects were apprehended during a hot pursuit operation on Monday morning in Brgy. 175, Caloocan City. The arrest stemmed from a robbery incident reported a day earlier, involving said fast food chain in Bustos and Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Through the quick response and coordination of the Santa Maria Municipal Police Station and other operating units under the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, authorities successfully tracked down the getaway vehicle and arrested the suspects in their hideout.
Recovered during the operation were one gray Toyota Avanza; two sets of plate numbers (NIQ 9065 and NIF 4547); one .38 caliber revolver loaded with live ammunition; cash amounting to ?10,000 in bills and ?13,000 in assorted coins along with several tools and personal belongings believed to have been used in the commission of the crime.
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., praised the outstanding teamwork and immediate action of the operating units involved, noting that such results reflect the professionalism and discipline of Central Luzon’s police force.
“This swift operation shows how quick coordination, focus, and dedication translate into results. Because of the vigilance of our police officers, we were able to stop this group from targeting more establishments,” said RD Peñones Jr.
