SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, BULACAN – A 25-year-old male drug den operator, and three accomplices were apprehended in a buy-bust operation around 4:12 p.m. in Barangay Muzon South on Thursday (Nov. 27). The operation led to the dismantling of a suspected drug den and the confiscation of approximately P68,000.00 worth of shabu.
The PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office identified the apprehended den operator as alias “LUPIN,” a resident of the aforementioned barangay. His three cohorts were identified by their known aliases:
- Alias “DAVE,” male, 26 years old;
- Alias “JON,” male, 26 years old; and
- Alias “CK,” male, 24 years old.
Operating teams recovered five (5) plastic transparent sachets containing roughly 10 grams of shabu, valued at P68,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money used in the sting operation.
The arrested suspects will be held at the PDEA-3 jail facility, while the confiscated illegal drugs will undergo forensic examination at the PDEA-3 laboratory.
The operation was a collaborative effort between the PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office and the Provincial Intelligence Team Bulacan East Regional Intelligence Unit 3.
LUPIN will face a non-bailable offense under Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 6 (maintenance of a drug den) of Republic Act 9165. The three accomplices will be charged with appropriate violations of the anti-drug law. (UnliNews Online)
