CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) continues to strengthen its anti-drug campaign with the arrest of a suspect and the confiscation of approximately 450.0 grams of suspected shabu valued at P3,060,000.00 during a buy-bust operation in Santa Maria, Bulacan on Thursday afternoon ( Dec. 4).
Based on the report, at around 2:10 in the afternoon, operatives of the Santa Maria Municipal Police Station (SDEU), with support from Bulacan PIU, Bulacan PIT East, RIU3, and PDEA Bulacan, apprehended a 48-year-old high value individual and resident of Barangay Caypombo, Santa Maria, Bulacan.
The operation also resulted in the recovery of a P1,000 buy-bust bill and other drug paraphernalia.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr praised the successful operation and emphasized PRO3’s dedication to proactive police work.
“This accomplishment shows our unwavering resolve to protect communities from the threat of illegal drugs. PRO3 will continue to pursue intelligence-driven operations to disrupt drug activities, safeguard our barangays, and ensure a safer Central Luzon. The successful arrest and seizure reflect PRO3’s sustained efforts to support the PNP Focused Agenda by strengthening police operations, enhancing case build-up, and ensuring public safety through close inter-agency coordination.
