CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Police operatives have been arrested early Wednesday morning (January 14) in Brgy. Tres Cruces, Tanza, Cavite, the former policeman, one of the four accused in the killing of Ramil Capistrano, ABC president of Bulacan and his driver in 2024.
During a press conference this Wednesday afternoon, Col. Angel Garcillano, Bulacan police director, identified the accused as Ulysses Hernani Castro Pascual, 46-year-old, resident of No. 628 Governor Pascual St., Brgy. San Roque, Navotas City.
The main suspect is a former member of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and leader of a gun for hire group.
The former policeman was presented to the press at the Balagtas Hall of the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center by Garcillano and Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando and Vice Gov. Alex Castro.
The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 11, City of Malolos, Bulacan on February 20, 2025, in connection with Criminal Case Nos. 988-M-2025 and 989-M-2025 for two (2) counts of Murder, with no bail recommended.
At the time of his arrest, a Glock 9mm 43X pistol with an optic sight, chambered and loaded with a magazine loaded with 15 bullets was seized from him.
Garcillano, however, did not yet disclose who the mastermind behind the killing of Capistrano.
The accused is currently in the custody of the Bulacan PIU for documentation and proper disposition. Meanwhile, the Warrant of Arrest will be returned to the court of origin pending the issuance of the commitment order. (UnliNews Online)
