PASAY CITY — Approximately 500 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) worth P3,400,000.00 were seized from three high-value targets following a buy-bust operation at around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday (February 26), along Corner Zoilo Hilario St. Metro Parking, Pasay City.
PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspects as alias Maki, male, 33 years old; alias Ton-Ton, 29 years old; and alias Otep, male, 34 years old.
Authorities confiscated 5 pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing 500 grams of shabu (worth P3,400,000), one unit Android mobile phone, a driver’s license, and the marked money used during the sting operation.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), arrested suspects are involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Metro Manila and nearby towns in Bulacan.

Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA RO3 jail facility, while seized illegal substances will undergo forensic examination and confirmation at the PDEA RO3 laboratory.
A non-bailable offense under section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 will be charged against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
