BALIWAG CITY, Bulacan — A makeshift drug den was dismantled by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), which led to the arrest of seven drug suspects and seizure of suspected shabu worth P40,800.00 following a buy-bust operation on Saturday night (Feb. 28) in Barangay Poblacion.
PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspects, who are known by their alias: Annie, female, 47 years old; Gelo, male, 29; Ric, male, 30; Mitch, female, 32; Kel, male, 32; Nick, male, 33; and Enzo, male, 50 years old.
Operating teams recovered approximately six grams of suspected shabu worth P40,800.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money.
According to PDEA, suspects were caught off guard while having a pot session.
Apprehended suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA-3 jail facility in City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The operation was conducted by operatives led by PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office along with PNP Provincial Intelligence Team Bulacan West Regional Intelligence Unit 3.
Arrested suspects will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Onlne)
