Bulacan scores two recognitions at 2025 TRES Awards

CITY OF MALOLOS – The province of Bulacan proudly garnered two prestigious recognitions at the 2025 TRES (Tourism Recognition for Enterprises and Stakeholders) Awards recently held at the Best Western Plus Metro Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Accoeding to Provincial Public Affairs Office on Monday, Bulacan clinched the Most Outstanding Festival award for the Singkaban Festival (Province/Freeport Zone category), alongside the Most Outstanding Heritage and Cultural Program award for the SINEliksik Bulacan Pamana Pass.

Accepting the awards on behalf of Governor Daniel R. Fernando were Provincial Administrator Antonia V. Constantino and Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office OIC Department Head Limuel Jan J. Lobederio.

Fernando expressed his gratitude to TRES Awards for recognizing the province’s efforts in preserving the rich culture and tourism of Bulacan.

“Ang pagkilalang ito mula sa TRES Awards ay nagpapatunay sa Bulacan bilang nangungunang lalawigan na nangangalaga sa kanilang sining, kultura at turismo. Simbolo ang mga parangal na ito sa mga pagsisikap na mapanatili ang mayamang kultura ng Bulacan habang isinusulong ang mga programang nagpapahalaga sa ating kasaysayan at tradisyon,” Fernando said.

In addition, the Tanglawan Festival of the City of San Jose Del Monte won 1st Runner-up for Most Outstanding Festival and 2nd Runner up for Top Tourist Destination, and Bulacan State University bagged 2nd Runner for Outstanding Tourism Academic Institution.

Outstanding Tour Guides were also recognized including Erwin Valenzuela as the Most Outstanding Tour Guide, Angelo Paulo O. Chico as 1st runner-up Most Outstanding Tour Guide, and Arvin John P. Delos Santos as 2nd Runner-up Most Outstanding Tour Guide.

The annual TRES Awards, which is organized by the Department of Tourism Region 3, honors exceptional tourism stakeholders, enterprises, and local government units across Central Luzon, celebrating excellence in tourism, LGU recognitions, and destinations that drive regional tourism growth.
