CITY OF MALOLOS – For its outstanding performance and sustained excellence in delivering critical public health services across the province, the Provincial Government of Bulacan, through the Bulacan Provincial Health Office–Public Health (PHO-PH), received multiple awards from the Department of Health Central Luzon Center for Health Development during the Microplanning with Partners for the National Immunization Program and Nutrition Program held at Hotel Boss in Calibutbut, Friendship Highway, Bacolor, Pampanga.
The awards were presented to Governor Daniel R. Fernando during the Monday Flag Ceremony on Monday (April 6, 2026), including recognition for Exceptional Health Promotion Strategies and Public Efforts for the National Immunization Program and Outstanding Efforts and Initiatives in Implementing and Sustaining the Bakuna Champions Playbook.
In addition, the PHO-PH was also recognized for consistently achieving the Fully Immunized Child (FIC) Monthly Target (>8%) and consistent achievement of a Monthly Performance Score in the Reporting of Immunization Indicators under the Field Health Services Information System (FHSIS).
The province further earned recognition for Reaching Targets for Specimen Collection Adequacy, Timeliness and Adequacy of Case Investigation, and Non-Measles/Rubella Reporting Rate of the Measles Surveillance Indicators in 2025.
Meanwhile, Fernando commended the PHO-PH, stating the awards reflect Bulacan’s commitment to protecting the health and well-being of every Bulakenyo and that the recognition shows the dedication of healthcare workers and partners in delivering quality public health services across the province.
