CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — During the enhanced police operations on Friday (Sept. 8) and early Saturday morning (Sept. 9), Bulacan police apprehended an Omnibus Election Code (OEC) violator, four drug peddlers, and six wanted felons for various crimes and offenses.
In reports to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan Provincial Director, said that the gun-law violator identified as Michael De Guzman was arrested in Poblacion, Baliwag City.
Based on the reports, a concerned citizen reported to Baliwag Police Station that De Guzman was seen carrying a firearm and roaming around the area. One caliber .38 revolver and three caliber .38 ammunition were confiscated during the arrest.
Violations of RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition) and the Omnibus Election Code (Gun Ban) were filed against De Guzman.
Meanwhile, four drug suspects were arrested in different anti-illegal drug bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Malolos, Angat, and San Ildefonso.
Arnedo identified the arrested drug suspects as Mirasol Baldeo; and Juanito Baldeo both of Brgy. Santisima, City of Malolos; Erwin San Jose of Poblacion, Bustos; and Christian Marvin Ramos @Vino of Sto. Cristo, Angat.
Confiscated were 21 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money. All of the arrested suspects and evidence were brought to the Bulacan Forensic Unit for examination.
On the other hand, six persons wanted by law were arrested in series of manhunt operations by the tracker teams of CIDG Bulacan, San Jose del Monte, and Marilao. Rodolfo De Jesus for Acts of Lasciviousness; Frederick Dionisio for Theft; Denis Renzo Nuyda for Estafa; Jenny Sto. Domingo for Violation of R.A. 7277; and Lilibeth Sto. Domingo for Violation of R.A. 7277.
“All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition,” Arnedo said.
