CAMP ALEJO SANTOS — In relentless daylong anti-criminality operations, the Bulacan police captured a total of 11 individuals comprising 6 drug suspects, and 5 wanted persons on Wednesday (April 2) to Thursday (April 3).
These operations against illegal drugs resulted in the confiscation of 25 sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price of P409,956.00, along with buy-bust money.
Major Jaynalyn A. Udal, Bul PPO information chief said the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Baliuag City Police Station conducted an anti-illegal drug operation on Thursday, at around 5:20 a.m. in Brgy. Poblacion, Baliuag, resulting in the arrest of alias “Jeff” and leading to the confiscation of 7 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a standard drug price value of P380,256.00 and buy bust money.
The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.
Similarly, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria, San Rafael, Angat, Plaridel, and Obando Police Stations conducted different buy-bust operations and arrested 5 drug peddlers. Confiscated during the operations were a total of 18 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a total standard drug price of P29,700.00 and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
On the other hand, a series of intensified manhunt operations conducted by tracker teams from San Jose Del Monte, Calumpit, San Ildefonso, Bustos and Balagtas Police Stations resulted in the arrest of 5 wanted individuals by virtue of Warrants of Arrest. (UnliNews Online)
