CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) has completed a P4.9-million road and drainage improvement project in Barangay Perez in the said city.
The improvements included 181 linear meters of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) and a 102-linear-meter lined drainage canal to manage rainwater flow and reduce flooding.
District Engineer George Santos highlighted the benefits of the project, stating that the newly paved road offers a smoother and more durable surface, which significantly reduces travel time and improves driving comfort.
“This work is part of our goal to build resilient infrastructure that supports both immediate and long-term community development,” Santos said.
This enhanced infrastructure improves road safety, mitigates flood risks, and strengthens local connectivity—contributing to a more progressive and disaster-resilient Bulacan. (UnliNews Online)
