NLEX bags 5 Quill Awards for communication excellence

NLEX Corporation won five awards at the 21st Philippine Quill Awards for its exceptional work in stakeholder engagement and road safety.

The Philippine Quill is the country’s most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication. Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Quill recognizes outstanding achievements in communication research, programs, skills, and creative projects—all aimed at advancing business goals while creating a positive impact on society.

“These awards reaffirm our strong commitment to integrating road safety into our culture and actively engaging our stakeholders in meaningful ways that encourage responsible and safe travel for everyone,” said NLEX Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management, Donna Faylona-Marcelo.

NLEX Corporation’s winning programs include:

  • Excellence Award for Communication Skills (Category 24 – Publications)
    Ang Bida ng Kalsada, a child-friendly road safety picture book designed to teach children the fundamentals of road discipline.
  • Excellence Award for Communication Management (Category 5 – Safety Communication & Category 10 – Community Relations)
    Mission Road Safety, a campaign promoting responsible road usage, anchored on the shared responsibility of ensuring safe drivers, safe vehicles, and safe roads.
  • Excellence Award for Communication Skills (Category 20 – Special and Experiential Events)
    MPTC TransportCon: Driving Transformative Conversations in the Transport Sector, which convened stakeholders and key industry leaders to collaborate on strengthening road safety and generating innovative solutions to improve the country’s transportation system.
  • Merit Award for Communication Skills (Category 22 – Audio/Visual)
    Humans of the North: Embracing Northern Culture Through Storytelling, a feature video highlighting the lives, successes, and vibrant culture of the people of North Luzon.

She added, “Receiving awards like these motivates us to keep delivering meaningful initiatives for motorists and to strengthen our partnerships with stakeholders and industry leaders.”

This year’s Quill Awards received over 1,000 entries from leading organizations across the Philippines.
