NU Baliwag graduating students explore 1,278 career opportunities at SM City Baliwag Job Fair

BALIWAG CITY — A total of 219 graduating students from NU Baliwag took a big leap towards their future careers as they participated in the Job Fair held at SM City Baliwag in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

The job fair provided a great opportunity for aspiring professionals to connect with potential employers and explore different industries and career paths. Thirteen participating companies offered a combined total of 1,278 job openings, giving students a wide range of employment opportunities and the chance to find a position that best fits their skills and interests.

GRADUATING students from NU Baliwag check on posted job vacancies offered during the recent job fair in SM City Baliwag.

Applicants also benefited from the One-Stop Shop, where they were able to process employment-related requirements from agencies such as the Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

The event forms part of SM Supermalls’ commitment to supporting workforce development and helping bridge the gap between education and employment. Through collaborations with government agencies and industry partners, SM Supermalls’ continues to create accessible platforms that empower job seekers while also contributing to local economic growth.

The job fair offered an excellent opportunity for students to get a first-hand experience of the recruitment process and take the first step to successful employment by bringing together employers and future graduates under one venue. (UnliNews Online)
