MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — After confiscated a party drugs worth P7,634,700.00 on Wednesday (April 2), authorities once again seized 994 grams of imported shabu worth P6,759,200.00 at the Port of Clark on Friday (April 4).
The parcel containing illegal drugs was declared as “spare parts”, emanated from East Africa arrived at the Port of Clark last March 26, 2025.
According to PDEA Clark, BOC-Port of Clark discovered the shabu during a routine profiling shipment and x-ray examinations. A subsequent K-9 sweeping by PDEA Special Eforcement Service (SES) K-9 Unit yielded positive results.
Four (4) transparent plastic packages containing suspected crystal meth (shabu) were confiscated. Seized illegal substances will undergo forensic examination at the PDEA RO3 laboratory.
The successful interdiction operation was through the collaborative efforts of PDEA Clark International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group, BOC-Port of Clark, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Pampanga District Office, and the PNP Aviation Security Unit 3. (UnliNews Online)
