CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Five individuals were arrested inside a makeshift drug den that also led to the confiscation of some P88,400.00 worth of crystal meth (shabu) following a buy-bust operation in barangay Talipapa here on Tuesday morning (April 29).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija Provincial Office identified the arrested suspects as alias San, 49 years old; alias Dict, 28; alias Del, 32; alias Son, 29; and Ton, 34.
According to PDEA Nueva Ecija, approximately 13 grams of shabu worth P88,400.00, assorted drug parahernalia, and buy-bust money were recovered during the operation.
The operation was jointly conducted through the collaborative efforts between PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, PDEA RO3 Special Enforcement Team, PNP Special Action Force.
Confiscated illegal substances will be forwarded to PDEA RO3 laboratory for forensic examination.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
