NUEVA ECIJA POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE — Thirteen law offenders were arrested by NEPPO cops in their latest series of operations across the province, which also led to the seizure of illegal drugs worth P400,928.00 on Monday (June 16) and Tuesday (June 17).
According to Col. Ferdinand D. Germino, Provincial Director of NEPPO, at around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, SDEU operatives of Zaragoza Police Station launched a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Sto. Rosario Young, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, resulting in the arrest of alias Bong, from whom 57 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of P387,600.00 were seized.
Meanwhile, three other drug suspects were also arrested in separate operations conducted by the San Antonio MPS, Aliaga MPS, and Jaen MPS. Recovered from the suspects were 1.96 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of P13,328.00.

The arrested drug suspects are now facing charges of Violation of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Moreover, 10 wanted persons were nabbed in separate Manhunt Charlie operations conducted by personnel of Laur MPS for Frustrated Homicide, Talavera MPS (2) for Robbery and Violation of RA 7610, San Jose City for RIR in Homicide, Cabanatuan City PS (2) for Homicide and Theft and Aliaga MPS (4) for Robbery.
The accused are now under the custody of the operating units.
