CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Catholic members of the Central Luzon police force gathered in solemn devotion to celebrate the Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, held on Friday (June 27), at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel here.
The celebration began with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. (Brig. Gen.) Jaime C. Seriña III, Director of the PNP Chaplain Service, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. (Lt. Col.) Jonathan Lee Chy, Regional Chaplain, PRO3; Ren. Fr. (Col.) Gilbert C. Ilagan, Regional Chaplain, NCRPO; and Rev. Fr. (Capt.) Jezzryl P. Failagmao, Chaplain, Camp Crame.
In his homily, Rev. Seriña emphasized the importance of deepening one’s spiritual life, particularly among those in uniform. He highlighted the Blessed Virgin Mary’s role as a perpetual source of comfort, guidance, and intercession, especially in times of hardship and service to others.
He remarked, “The PNP recognizes the role of our Blessed Mother in dispensing the graces of God for the men and women of Central Luzon. Her maternal intercession provides us with strength and hope in our daily mission.”
This annual celebration serves not only as a spiritual gathering but also as a reaffirmation of the PRO3 community’s enduring faith, unity, and commitment to service under the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary. (UnliNews Online)
