NLEX’s PUNLA prgram advances to next phase, driving business growth

DURING the launch and initial training session, participants discussed their progress and identified challenges in implementing their expansion plans. With support from program partner the Partnership of Philippine Support Service Agencies (PHILSSA), they will receive expert recommendations and ongoing mentoring over the next five months. It will include regular check-in sessions and conclude with a final evaluation.

Priscilla Domingo of Makabagong Agrikultura ng Dinalupihan Marketing, Corp., one of the participating enterprises, expressed appreciation for NLEX’s continued support and hands-on approach.

Jinky Barrameda, Chairperson of the CAT-Employees Dependents Producers Cooperative, another participating enterprise, shared how the program helped expand their networks and gain insights from other small businesses and partner organizations.

NLEX Vice President for Communications and Stakeholder Management, Donna F. Marcelo, highlighted the importance of the monitoring phase in assisting participants in achieving their business goals and ensuring long-term sustainability. “With PUNLA 2.1, our aim is to support these enterprises in becoming more resilient by addressing key challenges and strengthening their operations

For years, the tollway company has actively implemented corporate social responsibility programs that drive positive change and significantly enhance the well-being of residents in its host communities.

NLEX Corporation is a subsidiary of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the toll road arm of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC). (UnliNews Online)
