PRO3 ensures safe and orderly oath-taking of newly elected officials across Central Luzon

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3, under the dynamic leadership of P/Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., successfully ensured the peaceful and orderly conduct of the simultaneous oath-taking and inauguration ceremonies of newly elected local government officials across Central Luzon on Monday (June 30).

In anticipation of the large gatherings and heightened public activity, all provincial, city, and municipal police stations were placed on full alert. Extensive coordination with local government units, force multipliers, and other security stakeholders was conducted to guarantee a safe, smooth, and dignified transition of local leadership in the region.

“Our police personnel were strategically deployed in all activity areas to ensure that this important democratic event was carried out peacefully and without any untoward incident,” said PBGEN Peñones. “This reflects our continued commitment to public service and our vital role in strengthening democratic institutions.”

The regional director also commended the unwavering dedication of PRO3 personnel and partner agencies for their coordinated efforts and professionalism during the ceremonial proceedings.

No major security incidents were reported, and public response remained cooperative and orderly, affirming the trust and confidence of the community in the capabilities of the Philippine National Police.

With this successful deployment, PRO3 reaffirms its commitment to uphold peace and order and support the democratic processes that shape the future of the region. (UnliNews Online)
