CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Anti-illegal drug operatives in Central Luzon successfully intercepted two illegal drug operations that led to the arrest of nine suspects — including one tagged as a high-value individual — and the confiscation of over 113 grams of suspected shabu with a combined value of more than P768,000.
Based on the report to PRO3 Director P/Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., joint operatives of the Pampanga Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Porac MPS, in coordination with PDEA Region 3, arrested “Jer,” a high-value target, along with “Tito,” and “Ilyong,” in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Pio, Porac, Pampanga, on Tuesday night (July 8).
Confiscated from the suspects were 56 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P380,800, a blackish red Toyota Vios, two black Infinity mobile phones, and one blue-green Vivo phone.
Just hours later, at around 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday (July 9), another drug sting in Barangay Banga 1st, Plaridel, Bulacan led to the arrest of alias “Ape,” and his brother “Jay,” who were caught selling illegal drugs.
During the operation, four other individuals — identified as alias “Ilyong,” alias “Rome,” alias “CJ,” and alias “JM,” were also caught in a suspected pot session. Police recovered around 57 grams of shabu worth P387,600, as well as assorted drug paraphernalia.
Commending the efforts of the operatives, Peñones, emphasized: “These operations reflect the value of teamwork, solid intelligence work, and focused police action. More than that, it underscores our unwavering commitment to protect the public. The fight against illegal drugs is not ours alone—it involves the entire community, and PRO3 will continue working tirelessly to keep every neighborhood safe.”
With the continued support of local government units and communities, PRO3 reiterates its dedication to protecting every neighborhood from the grip of illegal drugs and ensuring a safer Central Luzon for all. (UnliNews Online)
