CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A 63-year old woman, identified as alias Mami was arrested in a buy-bust operation at a mall in Barangay Greenhills, San Juan City on Friday (Aug. 8), yielding approximately 200 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office said three other suspects were also taken into custody namely alias Jon, male, 27 years old; alias Lou, male, 19; and alias Yael, male, 25 old.
Operating teams recovered two knot-tied plastic sachets containing 200 grams of shabu and the marked money used by the undercover agent.
According to PDEA, alias Mami is involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in San Juan and neighboring areas of Bulacan province.
Confiscated illegal drugs will be forwarded to the PDEA RO3 laboratory for forensic examination.
The joint operation involved collaborative efforts from PDEA Provincial Offices in Bulacan and Bataan, PDEA NCR, and PNP Drug Enforcement Unit in San Juan City.
A non-bailable offense under Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in Relation to Section 26B (Conspiracy to sell drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be charged against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
