CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Operatives of San Manuel police successfully seized several high-powered firearms and ammunition during the implementation of a Search Warrant in Brgy. San Agustin, San Manuel, Tarlac on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 7).
The target of Search Warrant No. 009-25 issued by Hon. Luis C. Velasquez, Executive Judge of RTC Branch 105, Paniqui, Tarlac, for violation of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act was a 55-year old farmer.
Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were the following: One (1) Caliber 9mm ARMSCOR Pistol; 1 Caliber .380 COLT Pistol; 1 Airgun Rifle; assorted ammunition, 1 CO2 Tank; 1 black Bandolier and 1 Holster of Caliber .380 Pistol.
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., commended the operating team and stated “This accomplishment sends a clear message: PRO3 will not allow the spread of loose firearms that threaten the safety of our people. We remain steadfast in ensuring peace and security across Central Luzon.”
This operation is in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief PNP, Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in strengthening law enforcement operations and sustaining the campaign against loose firearms. (UnliNews Online)
