CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) is reinforcing its message of accountability across the ranks as 126 police personnel have been disciplined under an intensified integrity monitoring campaign from June 19 to December 6, 2025.
Under the leadership of Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., sanctions were imposed on personnel who were found to have violated regulations and ethical standards expected of members of the Philippine National Police.
A total of 54 personnel were dismissed from the service, 58 were suspended, and 14 were demoted, based on administrative cases and validated complaints handled during the period. The figures reflect the proactive internal cleansing efforts of PRO3, ensuring that police officers who violate the law and the public trust are dealt with decisively and fairly.
PBGEN Peñones reiterated that professionalism begins with strict adherence to rules, stating that PRO3 will always uphold accountability to maintain the credibility of the police service. “We will continue to enforce discipline without hesitation,” he said. “Those who fail to honor their oath will face consequences because our communities deserve a police force that is honest, dedicated, and worthy of public trust.”
The ongoing integrity monitoring campaign aligns with PRO3’s commitment to promote professionalism, protect the people, and pursue peace and order as part of its strategic direction and support to the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr. By cleansing its ranks, PRO3 aims to strengthen public confidence and ensure that only competent, disciplined, and trustworthy officers serve the communities of Central Luzon.
PRO3 assures the public that its internal cleansing programs will remain firm and consistent, reinforcing its stand that there is no room for misconduct within the police service. ( UnliNews Online)
