PDEA shuts down Bulacan drug den, arrests 3 suspects

SAN JOSE DEL MONTE CITY, Bulacan — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office dismantled a makeshift drug den and arrested three drug suspects following a buy-bust operation at around 5:15 p.m. in Barangay Minuyan Proper, on Tuesday (Dec. 16).

PDEA Bulacan team leader identified the main target of operation as alias Samboy, male, 35 years old. The other two apprehended suspects, who were known by their aliases, were named as alias Chor, male, 52 years old; and alias Cess, female, 28 years old.

Operating teams confiscated nine (9) pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing approximately six grams of shabu valued at P40,800.00, assorted sniffing paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

Seized illegal substances will undergo forensic examination at the PDEA RO3 laboratory, while arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Sambot will be charged for nonbailable offenses under Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 6 (maintenance of den) of Republic Act 9165. Two other suspects will face appropriate charges under the same law. (UnliNews Online)
