CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) recorded notable accomplishments for the week following sustained police operations across Central Luzon.
A total of 169 anti-drug operations were carried out during the period, resulting in the arrest of 244 individuals. Authorities seized illegal drugs worth P4,352,050.40, keeping dangerous substances off the streets.
Confiscated items included 638.81 grams of suspected shabu, 61.30 grams of marijuana leaves and 4 grams of marijuana plants.
Efforts against loose firearms led to the arrest of 30 individuals for firearms-related offenses. Police also recovered, surrendered, or confiscated 42 firearms for violations of Republic Act 10591, while five firearms were voluntarily deposited for safekeeping.
Meanwhile, operations targeting fugitives resulted in the arrest of 165 wanted persons, including 39 Most Wanted Persons and 126 other wanted individuals, reinforcing ongoing efforts to uphold the rule of law.
P/Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, said the week’s results reflect the steady implementation of the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly in strengthening police operations and accountability.
“These accomplishments show that our units remain focused on the job—going after criminals while making sure every operation is done properly and within the law,” Gen.Peñones Jr stated.
He stressed that PRO3’s campaign against illegal drugs, loose firearms, and wanted persons is carried out with discipline and respect for due process.
“We will sustain this momentum while also taking care of our personnel and continuing to work closely with our communities.
