CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) carried out sustained anti-crime and anti-illegal drug operations in January 2026, resulting in multiple arrests and drug seizures.
In a statement recently, PRO-3 said intensified manhunt operations arrested 814 wanted persons throughout the month. Of these, 124 were listed as most wanted, including 79 individuals ranked in the top 10 at regional, provincial and municipal levels, reflecting the region’s focused and intelligence-driven tracking efforts.
At the same time, PRO3 maintained a relentless drive against illegal drugs, conducting 659 anti-drug operations that resulted in the arrest of 943 suspects, including 22 High Value Individuals (HVIs).
Police operatives seized large quantities of illegal drugs, including 3,499.48 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of ₱23,796,489.84; 1,229.20 grams of dried marijuana leaves valued at ₱147,503.69; 144.894 grams of kush worth ₱217,341.60; and 43.733 ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of ₱74,346.10. The total value of all confiscated illegal drugs reached ₱24,236,481.23.
PRO3 Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr credited the accomplishments to disciplined police work and the commitment of personnel on the ground.
“These accomplishments are the result of focused operations, strong intelligence support, and the dedication of our police officers who continue to put public safety first, in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of our Chief PNP, PGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr. Every arrest made and every illegal drug seized is a step toward safer communities for the people of Central Luzon,” PBGEN Peñones Jr. said.
