Strong start for RD Mendez: Top Ten Regional Most Wanted arrested in 48 hours

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) successfully arrested all individuals listed in the Top 10 Regional Most Wanted Persons for the month of March in just two days, completing the operation by Monday (March 2).

Nine arrested individuals were facing charges for rape while the other was for anti-child pornography, underscoring the seriousness of the offenses and the urgency of their apprehension.

The swift accomplishment highlights the region’s intensified and intelligence-driven manhunt operations, in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., which prioritizes aggressive law enforcement, accountability, and enhanced police capability.

PRO3 Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez emphasized that the result was not a coincidence, but a product of sustained operational discipline.

“This is not a one-time success. It reflects the culture we are building in PRO3 — focused execution, coordinated intelligence, and immediate action. Arresting wanted persons is not an event for us; it is a way of life in policing,” Mendez said.

He underscored that the campaign against wanted persons remains a top operational priority, particularly when the charges involve grave offenses such as rape, as it directly contributes to public safety and the protection of vulnerable sectors.

According to RD Mendez, the rapid completion of the Top 10 list demonstrates strong coordination among Provincial Police Offices, City Police Offices, and intelligence units across Central Luzon.

“Our mandate under the PNP Focused Agenda is clear — decisive enforcement, strengthened internal discipline, and measurable results. When we say we will pursue wanted persons, we pursue them relentlessly,” he added.

PRO3 continues to enhance its warrant service operations through focused deployment strategies, case tracking systems, and strengthened inter-unit coordination.

Under the banner of “Pulis Central Luzon,” PRO3 remains committed to delivering firm enforcement and responsive public service — reinforcing its mission of providing serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman. (UnliNews Online)
