SUBIC, Zambales — Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 (PDEA-3) Zambales Provincial Office dismantled a makeshift drug den that led to the arrest of three individuals and siezure of some P136,000 worth of suspected meth (shabu) following a buy-bust operation on Saturday (March 28) at around 5:40 p.m. in Barangay Calapacuan.
PDEA Zambales Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects as ; alias Muay male, 43 years old; alias Macmac, male, 33 years old; and alias JK, male, 27 years old.
Operating teams recovered 8 pieces of plastic transparent sachets containing approximately 20 grams of suspected shabu (worth P136,000), assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money used during the sting operation.

Confiscated illegal substances will be forwarded to PDEA-3 laboratory for forensic examination and confirmation.
The operation was conducted through the collaborative effort between PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, PNP Zambales Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), and Subic Police Station.
Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
