CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — A father and his son were caught in an anti-drug buy-bust operation that led to the seizure of around P74,800 worth of suspected shabu and the arrest of three other suspects in Barangay Isla here at about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 16).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija Provincial Office identified the arrested suspects as alias Binoy, 54 years old, and his son, alias Tony, 33 years old. The three other suspects were identified by their aliases: Juday, female, 36; Annie, female, 53 and Len-Len, female, 32.
Operating teams recovered nine pieces of clear plastic sachets containing approximately 13 grams of suspected shabu (valued at Php 74,800), assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money used during the transaction.

The arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA Region 3 detention facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, while the confiscated dangerous drugs will undergo forensic examination at the PDEA Region 3 Laboratory.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office and the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) – Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU).
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are now being prepared for filing in court against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
