CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Two motorcycle drag racers and 13 drag racing enthusiasts were arrested by police operatives of Bocaue recently.
Reports reaching Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the arrested motorcycle drivers as Raven Carlo Julian and Angelo Jasper Reyes who were caught in the act of a drag race along Arena Road, Barangay Bolacan, Bocaue, Bulacan.
The suspects were also not wearing protective helmets, using modified mufflers, and without proper documents for their motorcycles when apprehended.
On the other hand, 12 other persons were also arrested for illegal betting on the motorcycle drag race.
Police confiscated the two motorcycles and race bet money amounting to P4,000.
The arrested suspects are facing charges for violations of PD 1602 and RA 4136 and were placed under the custody of the Bocaue Police Station.
