CITY OF MALOLOS — To refresh fireworks stakeholders about safety practices in manufacturing, sales, distribution and proper use of fireworks products, the Philippine Pyrotechnics Manufacturer Dealers Association Inc. together with the Philippine National Police Civil Security Group-Firearms and Explosive Office conducted a seminar at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium on Tuesday (March 28).
The safety seminar is said to be a requirement in getting a license for retailers, manufacturers, dealers, and display operators.
Gracing the seminar as the honorable guest of honor and speaker, Governor Daniel R. Fernando reminded the attendees how important it is to be knowledgeable about various safety protocols when it comes to handling the fireworks.
“Iniiwasan po natin na may masaktan at mapahamak nang dahil sa hindi maayos na pag-ooperate ng mga paputok. Sa atin po nagsisimula ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa kaya naman mahalaga na may karagdagang kaalaman ang ating mga retailer upang mapanatili ang kaayusan at kaligtasan ng bawat isa,” Fernando said.
The seminar was also attended by Chief of Staff and concurrent Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Head Atty. Jayric L. Amil and a few PNP officials including RCSU3 PCOL Nolie Q. Asuncion, FEO Acting Chief PCOL Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, and Bulacan PPO Provincial Director Relly B. Arnedo. (UnliNews Online)
