NUEVA VIZCAYA PPO, Bayombong — The Nueva Vizcaya Women in the Police Service Organization’s (NVWPSO) very own P/Cpl Miriam Uyami emerged victorious in the search for “Manang Biday 2023” as part of the 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration with theme: We for gender equality and inclusive society held at the PRO2 Covered Court, Camp Marcelo A. Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on Tuesday (March 27).
P/Cpl Uyami is a native beauty of Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya and presently assigned at Kayapa Police Station as one of its PCR personnel. She was also recently crowned as Ms. NVWPSO 2022.
Being designated as a PCR personnel supported and led her to bag the title during the question and answer portion.
Manang BIDAy (B. I. D. A Yra yaw nga Babbay y Mamolu) a project activity where women sector leads the implementation of BIDA program.
It is inspired by the iconic and famous liturgical song of Ilocanos featuring BIDAy as beautiful, fragile and the hard to get culture of Filipino women. Indeed, the search was not just for pretty faces, but beauty with a purpose. (UnliNews Online)
