CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Operatives of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group – SOU NCR (PNP-DEG), in collaboration with Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) – and Pandi police successfully dismantled a drug distribution operation in Bulacan.
Based on the report, around Thursday morning (Sept. 25), the joint police operatives launched a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Poblacion, Pandi, Bulacan and resulted in the arrest of four individuals, including two high-value targets, and the confiscation of 500 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P3,400,000, alongside marked money and other drug paraphernalia.
The arrested suspects, believed to be linked to a wider syndicate supplying illegal drugs in Region 3 and NCR, were properly apprised of their constitutional rights.
Confiscated evidence has been secured for proper documentation and laboratory examination, while the suspects remain under the custody of PNP-DEG for further legal disposition.
Police Regional Office 3 Director, Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., lauded the successful joint operation and underscored that it reflects the directives of the acting Chief PNP, Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.
“This operation shows our Enhanced Police Operations at work. Guided by the leadership of acting Chief PNP, and through the synergy of PNP-DEG and PRO3, we weakened a drug network in Central Luzon and NCR, proving our commitment to stop the drug trade and protect our communities from its harmful impact,” RD Peñones Jr. stated said on his statement.
