Reinforces Leadership Direction and Regional Readiness

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Philippine National Police Acting Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. led a command visit to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Monday (Jan.12), where he was accorded arrival honors and personally engaged regional leadership and personnel in a series of high-level activities aimed at strengthening operational readiness and organizational cohesion in Central Luzon.

The visit was hosted by Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, together with the PRO3 Command Group and Regional Staff.

During his engagement with key officers, Lt. Gen. Nartatez Jr. reviewed regional operational conditions, acknowledged PRO3’s accomplishments, and discussed critical issues and priorities affecting police performance and service delivery across the region. The discussions underscored the importance of leadership presence, accountability, and timely decision-making in addressing both security concerns and organizational demands.

As part of the command visit, the Acting Chief led the blessing of the newly constructed PRO3 Multipurpose Hall and Finance Building, emphasizing the role of modern facilities in supporting efficient operations, sound administration, and personnel welfare.

He likewise conducted a “Talk to Men,” directly addressing the men and women of PRO3 and stressing discipline, integrity, and professionalism as non-negotiable pillars of police service. This was followed by a Command Conference, where senior officers presented regional accomplishments, assessed prevailing peace and order challenges, and discussed operational directions moving forward.

The command visit highlighted the PNP leadership’s hands-on approach in guiding field units, reinforcing unity of command, and ensuring that regional efforts remain aligned with national leadership direction.

The engagement reaffirmed PRO3’s commitment to sustained readiness, disciplined leadership, and responsive policing in service of the people of Central Luzon. (UnliNews Online)
