CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Joint anti-illegal drug operatives of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office successfully arrested two High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and confiscated approximately 155 grams of suspected shabu worth around P1,054,000 during a buy-bust operation conducted in Brgy. Mandasig, Candaba, Pampanga on Tuesday night (May 26).
The operation was led by the Pampanga Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) together with the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Candaba Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3.
Authorities confiscated several sachets containing suspected shabu, including the subject of sale, during the operation. The arrested suspects were informed of their constitutional rights and were brought to the PDEU office for proper documentation and disposition of evidence.

P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, RD, PRO3 commended the operating units for the successful operation and reaffirmed the region’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs.
“This successful operation reflects our relentless commitment to the anti-illegal drugs campaign under the PNP Focused Agenda of our Chief, PNP, PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. We will continue to intensify intelligence-driven operations against individuals involved in the illegal drug trade to help ensure safer communities across Central Luzon,” P/Brig. Gen. Mendez said.
He likewise emphasized that PRO3 remains steadfast in its mission of delivering “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman” through sustained anti-criminality and anti-illegal drug operations throughout the region. (UnliNews Online)
