PRO3’s sustained anti-drug operations yield P1.1M shabu haul, high-value targets

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Continuing anti-illegal drug operations of Police Regional Office 3 resulted in the arrest of several high-value drug personalities and the seizure of more than 167 grams of suspected shabu worth over Php1.1 million in separate operations conducted in Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Bataan from Wednesday (May 27) to Friday (May 29).

In Guimba, Nueva Ecija, a high-value drug personality was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Guimba Municipal Police Station, with authorities confiscating around 63 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php428,400.

Another high-value target was arrested by operatives of the San Jose Del Monte City Police Station in Bulacan, leading to the recovery of about 52 grams of suspected shabu worth P353,600 and an improvised firearm loaded with live ammunition.

IN Dinalupihan, Bataan, police arrested two drug suspects, including a high-value individual, during a buy-bust operation that resulted in the confiscation of 52.51 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of Php357,068 along with other drug-related items. (PRO3)

The three operations yielded a total of 167.51 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P1,139,068.00 preventing the illegal drugs from reaching communities in Central Luzon.

PRO3 Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez lauded the operating units for their relentless efforts in the campaign against illegal drugs.

“These successful operations send a strong message that PRO3 remains relentless in going after individuals involved in the illegal drug trade. We will continue to sustain intelligence-driven operations and strengthen our law enforcement efforts to keep our communities safe,” Gen. Mendez said.

He emphasized that the accomplishment reflects the PNP’s continuing commitment to the anti-illegal drug campaign under the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP, P/Gen. Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr.

“Hindi tayo titigil sa pagpapatupad ng batas laban sa mga nagpapakalat ng ilegal na droga. Ang bawat matagumpay na operasyon ay hakbang tungo sa mas ligtas at mas maayos na mga komunidad sa Central Luzon,” he added. (UnliNews Online)
