SM malls in Bulacan mobilize Brigada Eskwela efforts ahead of school opening

CITY OF MALOLOS — SM malls in Bulacan demonstrated their continued commitment to education and community development, as SM City Marilao, SM Center Pulilan, and SM City Baliwag actively participated in a series of Brigada Eskwela activities on June 3-4 at selected schools in Bulacan in preparation for the upcoming school year.

SM City Marilao collaborated with dedicated employees and security personnel to improve the overall cleanliness and safety of Northville IV-B Elementary School by repainting classroom walls and furniture, as well as washing and restoring desks and chairs.

SOME volunteers from SM City Marilao helped wash and restore desks and chairs during the Brigada Eskwela held at Northville IV-B Elementary School.

These initiatives helped to create a friendlier and accommodating environment for students and teachers alike.

Meanwhile, volunteers from SM City Baliwag conducted a comprehensive transformation at Dr. Nicolas V. Rustia Memorial School. Aside from cleaning of the classrooms, necessary repairs were conducted, while seats and tables were repainted and rebuilt, transforming learning spaces into brighter, more engaging surroundings that will encourage children as they begin the new school year.

In addition, the SM Center Pulilan team assisted Marciano del Rosario Memorial Elementary School by repainting classroom fixtures, as well as cleaning and sprucing up the school grounds to create a vibrant and conducive atmosphere for students.

Aside from cleaning, repainting and repairing activities, SM City Marilao, SM Center Pulilan, and SM City Baliwag donated refurbishing and cleaning materials to school beneficiaries.

Brigada Eskwela provides a collaborative platform for SM Supermalls and educational institutions, enabling them to work together to positively impact students’ lives.

Through Brigada Eskwela, SM Malls in Bulacan remain committed to nation-building, collaborating with educators, parents, and local stakeholders to offer students safe, clean, and inspirational learning environments. (UnliNews Online)
