SM City Baliwag wraps up vibrant Buntal Festival celebration

SM City Baliwag recently wrapped up its successful Buntal Festival activities, honoring the city’s rich cultural heritage through a meaningful celebration of local artistry and community engagement.

Serving as one of the highlights, the Lasa Hapag Baliwagenyo: Culinary Heritage Art Exhibition ignited the Buntal Festival celebration at SM City Baliwag.

The event puts the spotlight on the exceptional creations of selected visual artists while giving art lovers and enthusiasts a glimpse of Baliwagenyo culinary artistry, local heritage, and creative expressions.

YOUNG creatives put their artistic talents on display as they transformed traditional buntal hats into vibrant works of art at SM City Baliwag’s Buntal Hat Painting Workshop.

The Buntal Hat Painting Workshop, meanwhile, unleashed children’s creativity while introducing them to Baliwag’s renowned Buntal weaving tradition. Complementing the festivities, SM City Baliwag also hosted a community run as part of the SM Active Hub campaign.

Attracting more than 200 participants from Baliwag and neighboring towns, the event promoted active lifestyles and strengthened shared connections among the locals.

Filipino pride takes center stage as P-pop Fan Fest brought together music enthusiasts and fans of the Pinoy pop culture scene, while Pawstival Parade brought a different flavor to the festivity with a colorful gathering of beloved furry companions.

Through these activities, SM City Baliwag—Your Most Loved Mall continues to support local culture, foster community engagement, and provide meaningful Gala to the Max experiences that celebrate the unique identity and heritage of Baliwag and the province of Bulacan as a whole. (UnliNews Online)
