SM City Marilao and SM City Baliwag enhance learning resources for 545 Bulakenyo students

CITY OF BALIWAG, Bulacan — SM City Marilao and SM City Baliwag reaffirmed their commitment to education and community development through the donation of chairs, tables, computer units, and other school furniture to Kapitangan National High School in Paombong.

The donated resources will help create a more conducive learning environment for students and teachers, supporting both digital learning and collaborative spaces.

Representatives from SM City Marilao and SM City Baliwag, school administrators, faculty members, and students witnessed the turnover event, which marked yet another significant collaboration in creating better opportunities for Bulakenyo learners.

The tables and chairs donated by SM City Marilao and SM City Baliwag on Tuesday (June 30) to Kapitangan National High School in Paombong, Bulacan will create functional learning spaces where students can study, collaborate on academic projects, and engage in recreational activities.

The donated computer units will help strengthen the school’s digital learning capabilities in today’s technology-driven landscape, while the tables and chairs will serve as functional areas for students to study, work on academic projects, and participate in recreational activities. These additions are expected to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment that supports both learning and student engagement beyond the four corners of the classroom.

“Community growth can be effectively sparked by education. We aspire to support schools in delivering high-quality education and give kids resources that foster learning, creativity, and meaningful engagement through initiatives like these,” says Ana Datu, SM Regional Operations Head- AVP for Mall Operations.

School officials expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that the equipment will meet immediate educational needs of at least 545 learners at Kapitangan National High School while also providing kids with dedicated locations to study, read, collaborate with classmates, and engage in productive recreational activities.

Beyond providing shopping and lifestyle experiences, SM Supermalls continue to promote programs that provide significant and enduring impacts in their host communities.

The donation to Kapitangan National High School underscores SM City Marilao and SM City Baliwag’s shared commitment to empowering the future generation by helping create learning environments that foster growth, collaboration, and lifelong learning. (UnliNews Online)
