Nearly P1.34-M worth of shabu seizes; 2 HVIs arrested during anti-drug operation in DRT

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Anti-drugs operatives of Bulacan Police Provincial Office seized nearly P1.34 million worth of shabu and arrested two High-Value Individuals (HVIs) during an anti-drug operation in the mountainous part of Barangay Pulong Sampalok in Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT).

Based on the report sent to UnliNewsOnline this Friday morning (July 31), the joint anti-drug operation was carried out at around 7:30 p.m. by operatives of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and the Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Thursday evening.

The two arrested suspects “Marivic” and “Rey,” both identified as High-Value Individuals, were found in possession of around 197 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P1,339,600.00.

Police also recovered the marked buy-bust money, a gray bag used during the transaction, and an orange Honda Giorno motorcycle believed to have been utilized in the suspects’ illegal activities.

PRO3 Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the successful operation demonstrates the region’s sustained efforts to cut off the supply of illegal drugs and dismantle the networks behind their distribution.

“Our campaign is not measured solely by the number of arrests we make, but by the communities we protect. Every drug haul intercepted and every High-Value Individual taken off the streets weakens the illegal drug network and prevents these dangerous substances from reaching our families, especially our youth. We will continue to pursue those who choose to profit from illegal drugs with the full force of the law and in close coordination with our partner agencies,” P/Brig. Gen. Mendez said.

Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) remains steadfast in its commitment to intensifying anti-drug operations, dismantling criminal networks, and ensuring safer, more secure communities across Central Luzon through consistent, lawful, and intelligence-led law enforcement efforts.
