CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A remarkable 53-year journey of dedication and service took center stage as Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC) honored veteran employee Mercedes Belen and other outstanding faculty and staff during the Gawad Pagkilala 2026: Natatanging Kawani ng Dalubhasaan at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center.
Belen, who taught Stenography and Office Procedures during her time at the college and was honored with Gawad Pagkilala award, shared her joy that her service since 1971 has been recognized.
Aside from the Gawad Pagkilala award, BPC conferred the Good Seed Award 2026 to Rossana Manio, Victoria Sison, Gregoria Santos, Melissa Miguel, Joey De Vera, and to their OIC-President Dr. Mel Oliver Balagtas.
The college also presented Service Awards to employees with five to 29 years of dedicated service to BPC.
Meanwhile, Governor Daniel R. Fernando, through his representative Erickson Elaria, thanked the school officials, teachers, and non-teaching personnel for their integrity, dedication, and efficiency in their daily service to the college’s students.
