CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police arrested the alleged leader of the Diamla Criminal Gang in a predawn buy-bust operation in Bocaue, Bulacan, seizing P176,800 worth of suspected shabu and a loaded .45-caliber pistol in anti-drug operation recently.
The 45-year-old suspect under the alias of Hagorn was apprehended at around 3:15 a.m. along St. Martha Road in Barangay Batia by joint operatives of the Bocaue Municipal Police Station, Bulacan West Police Intelligence Team/Regional Intelligence Unit 3, and Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit.
Authorities recovered approximately 26 grams of suspected shabu, along with a Caspian .45-caliber pistol containing one live round in the chamber and three additional rounds in its magazine.
Police identified the suspect as the alleged leader of the Diamla Criminal Gang, which is reportedly involved in illegal drug distribution and theft in Bocaue and Pandi.
The suspect and the seized evidence were brought to Bocaue MPS for proper disposition.
He faces charges for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. (UnliNews Online)
