35 Bulakenyos get hired on the spot at BTS Mini Job Fair

CITY OF MALOLOS — A total of 35 Bulakenyo job hunters found their employers in the Bulacan Trabaho Service (BTS): Mini Job Fair held at the 2nd floor Activity Center, Waltermart Malolos in this city recently.

In addition, 138 applicants were nearly hired or passed the preliminary screening and need to submit additional requirements to be considered as hired.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando, in his message delivered by Provincial Youth, Sports, and Public Employment Service Office OIC-Department Head Atty. Jayric L. Amil, encouraged Bulakenyos to use opportunities, such as job fairs, as instruments that would bring them closer to a brighter future.

“Narito ang pagkakataon, kaya naman ipamalas ninyo ang husay, sipag, at talino ng isang Bulakenyo. Ipakita ninyo na karapat-dapat kayo sa mga ipinagkaloob na tiwala sa inyo ng ating mga employer,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, Briccio T. Malaguit who was hired on the spot as an Electrician Helper by the D’ Jobsite General Services Inc., thanked the Provincial Government of Bulacan for bringing closer available jobs to Bulakenyo job seekers.

“Ito ay napakalaking pabor sa amin dahil hindi na po namin kailangan lumayo. At para po sa iba na kagaya ko na fresh grad at natatakot umalis masyado o kinakabahan pa sa gagawin. At the same time, ‘yung hindi naman lahat same ‘yung income na kayang lumuwas kaya pabor talaga,” the newly hired said.

More or less 300 Bulakenyo walk-in applicants came to the mini job fair with over a thousand job offerings from 10 local companies and employers. (UnliNews Online)
