HERMOSA, BATAAN – Eight individuals, including a drug den operator, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok 2, Barangay Balsik, Hermosa town on Saturday (March 15).
The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 10 grams of shabu valued at P68,000.00, two grams of marijuana worth P240.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
Confiscated illegal drugs will be forwarded to PDEA RO 3 laboratory for forensic examination.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3 team leader identified the arrested den operator as alias MON, male, 52 years old. Other suspects apprehended were alias Ben, 26 years old; alias Sey, 49; alias Jeh, 22; alias Son, 37; and alias Nel, 63; all residents of Barangay Balsik, Hermosa , Bataan.
The successful operation was a collaborative effort between PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office and Hermosa Police Station.
Apprehended suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangarous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
