BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Four siblings involved in drug peddling were arrested and yielded some P748,000.00 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation at around 3:10 p.m. in Barangay Cataning this weekend (May 18).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Officer identified the arrested siblings as Alias Aying, 48 years old; Alias Rara, 37; Alias Roly, 33; and Alias Ali, 29 years old.
Two of their cohorts were also arrested, namely alias Ann and alias Ron-Ron.
A total of six transparent plastic sachets containing roughly 110 grams of crystal meth (shabu) worth P748,000.00; one (1) Android phone; and the buy-bust money were recovered by the operating teams.
The operation was conducted jointly by operatives led by the PDEA Bataan Provincial Office and the local police.
Confiscated illegal substances will be sent to the PDEA RO3 laboratory section for forensic examination and confirmation.
A non-bailable offense under Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to Section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 will be charged against the apprehended suspects. (UnliNews Online)
